Privacy Policy under GDPR regulation (for Europe and companies doing business towards European area users) - The Legacy App

This privacy policy describes how PMI collects, uses, and discloses your personal information and data when you use our services through our websites and/or applications.

What kind of data is collected?

PMI collects the following set of data and information:

  • Personal identification information (name, physical address, email address, phone number...)

  • Images and videos

How is the data collected?

You provide PMI with most of the data we collect.  We collect data and process personal data and information when:

  • You register online or place an order for any of our products or services

  • Use our website or application when cookies are set on your device

PMI might also receive data and information indirectly from the following sources:

How will we use your data?

PMI collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your order and manage your account

  • Send you emails with special offers on products and services

  • Use your images and videos in our form sections you'd fill in to have more information to deal with your request

  • Use the images, videos, and text you submitted to us to post them on our app

  • Use images via your camera or gallery for you to scan QR codes

  • Use your image as a profile picture

When PMI processes your order, it may send your data to credit and banking agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases that can include third-party payment processors.

Your data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction.  Once that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

PMI hosts and manages WooCommerce, our donation solution.  They provide us with online platforms for selling products and processing donations.
Your data is stored through the general WooCommerce application.  PMI uses a third-party host that stores your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase or donation, Square Up or Authorize.net store your credit card data.  The data is encrypted using the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).  Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete the transaction.  After that, it is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store, donation platform, and service providers.

NOTE: At no point during the transaction does Pearsons Ministries International take custody or store your credit card information.  This process is monitored and managed by Square Up and Authorize.net, and you can read their terms of service, privacy policy, and PCI Compliance information by visiting their sites at:
https://www.authorize.net/about-us/privacy/
